On a cybercrime forum, behind a paywall that costs nothing more than a forum reply, sit the passport scans of roughly 150,000 footballers and coaches from across Asia. Contracts, too. Verified email addresses. Bank details. AFC registration documents.

The dump appeared on PwnForums over the weekend of 25-26 April, six short weeks before the FIFA World Cup kicks off on 11 June.

The actor behind the post goes by “fuckiewuckie.” He credited ShinyHunters, the notorious breach collective whose administrators were arrested in France in June 2025. H

Foot Mercato named Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Heung-min Son, Kang-in Lee, Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brozovic, Mehdi Taremi and FIFA President Gianni Infantino as appearing in the trove.

What is actually in the files?
